Carnival, Festival, Carnival, Ahoy!

Time for more carnival and festival madness! The Carnival of Personal Finance was hosted this week by My Retirement Blog. My post Extra Paycheck Strategy was featured, along with this post I couldn’t help but read based on the title….

Festival of Frugality went live yesterday at My Two Dollars. My post An Idyllic Afternoon was included, and I found this gem down at the bottom near my post:

  • The Frugal Reflex posted at The Financial Blogger. I need to develop this reflex! I still very much have a spender reflex. Spend! Spend! No… wait….

And, finally, the Carnival of Money Stories was at a blog I hadn’t seen before, Building an Empire. My post Being Assertive Really Pays Off was included, as well as this great pick:

  • Protect Your Information! There‚Äôs Treasure In Your Trash posted at The Digerati Life. My spouse once had his identity stolen to register for a bunch of classes at a university in Texas…. we’ve been shredder people ever since. I wonder if I could get one of those government level micro shredders….

Check out the carnival and festival fun and pick your favorite post too!

  1. Thanks so much for mentioning my post :) . I am highly paranoid about our paperwork and documents so almost everything I have is shredded. All that junk mail goes into tiny pieces (well, at least the address info)!!

  2. I loved your using the shredded stuff as package stuffing… I must remember that.

We are a shredding household too….. so much of my recycling each week goes out in tiny pieces….

  3. Glad you liked the title at least. Thanks for the mention.
