		<description>Someone "has" to pay only if you believe the credit card companies "have" to maintain their same ridiculous profits, even at the cost of gouging people.  It's not like the credit card business can't be profitable without ripping people off--the industry was just fine until the deregulation discussed above.  Me personally, I don't consider the maintenance of multimillion-dollar bonuses to financial executives a social good worth worrying about maintaining.</description>
