Check out the Festival of Frugality!
For those who aren’t aware, I handle the administrative end of the Festival of Frugality for festival owner Jim at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity. Generally, I write frugal tips on the homepage, do roundups, talk to hosts, stuff like that. :) Some of you may have noticed my tagline on the frugal tips as of late. Anyhow, I don’t usually put a roundup of the festival here unless I participated, but this week there was a bit of a host mixup, and Student Scrooge stepped in at the last minute (literally) to host it yesterday. I want to thank him for doing so and invite you all to check out his fine frugal festival on very short notice! Here are his editor’s picks:
- Almost Frugal : the ABCs of Frugality: 26 Key Frugal Concepts.
- Gather Little by Little : 100+ MPG on a Scooter.
- Monroe on a Budget: Back-to-school peer-pressure issue
- Saving Advice : 15 Everyday habits that save money.
Check out the entire festival and thanks again to Student Scrooge!
