		<description>Very excellent point.  And the thing about saving is that the more you do it the better it feels, so the more you want to do it...and a healthy habit is born. :)

I know I've mentioned it a time or twelve, but it's  worth a shot to try to negotiate with the provider to reduce your out of pocket medical expenses.  I recently negotiated my Dad's out of pocket expenses for my stepmother's medical care from over $10,000 to under $2000.  Some waived the bill entirely, others took a discount for paying the bill in full, and a few wouldn't budge.
