Twitterfied and Free $25 Expiring Soon

Yesterday I signed up for twitter. Twitter is basically, honestly, like global instant messaging. I thought at first it was just something that you randomly “tweeted” whatever you were doing and people watched you say stuff. Since mine would be insanely boring I never signed up. But, you can talk to people on it and follow people and well, I haven’t figured it all out.

But anyone who uses twitter is welcome to follow me! And I will follow you back. :) My twitter name is paidtwice, if you couldn’t guess that. I am still pretty new at using it and have loads still to figure out. it seems fun though.

I also wanted to remind anyone who was thinking of signing up for Revolution Money Exchange (a person to person money transfer service like paypal) that Monday is the last day to sign up and get the $25 bonus! I have now linked a bank account, had money transferred to me (my spouse signed up and transferred me his bonus) and transferred money out into my own bank account, so I do trust that it works. It is backed by some pretty big corporations. If you sign up using my graphic below, you get $25.00 and I get a $10 referral bonus, which I am going to apply to debt reduction of some sort. I am going to put up a poll to let my readers decide which of my three debts my total money from RME goes to. I thought that would be fun. :) No pressure from me to sign up! But if you ARE going to sign up anyway, feel free to use my referral link. Just click on the graphic!

Must go work on publicity for my taekwondo studio, have a wonderful Saturday! Maybe I’ll actually post some grocery insights this afternoon, I have been skipping that because the updates seemed boring. Hee hee.

  1. I happen to enjoy your grocery posts!

I can’t figure out how to transfer funds from RME to my checking account. Help!

  2. @ Holly - nothing interesting was happening with groceries and I felt like I was just writing the same thing over and over. lol. Maybe now that it has been a few weeks it will be interesting. :)
To transfer $ with RME you have to “add a funding source” (click that selection and follow the instructions). Once you do that, in a day or three they will make two small deposits to your checking acct, and you just have to fill in what they were, and then you can transfer $ to the funding source.

    Good luck!!

  3. I finally figured it out, thanks to you!

  4. I just signed up! Thanks for the info!

  5. I have just signed up via your link ;-)

  6. I like your grocery posts as well. I need all the help I can get in this day of high and going higher food prices. I am starting to shop only on an as need basis…trying to be more creative and as someone wrote…eat food, not alot, mostly plants! Although, today I had a craving for a dark chocolate Milky Way and bought one as my special weekend treat.

  7. Done! I am assuming that once I have this account linked to my checking account, I will be able to transfer that 25.00 to my regular checking account, just like my ING account, is that correct???

  8. @ Liz - yes, once the acct is set up, you can transfer your $25 to it. It works basically like paypal.

@jinger and holly - I wrote about my boring groceries just for you. Maybe I should start twittering groceries. lol :)

  9. One of my former students, now a tech geek making major bucks, twitters. I can barely keep up with normal tech stuff. My 19 year old granddaughter told me she talks to a friend in Ireland on Skype and that was also a new one for me!

I do have a website though that my son just helped me set up. It’s for the baby quilts I sew by hand. I’m not sure if it’s OK to post it above my reply. If it’s OK, let me know. Thanks.

  10. @jinger - you can post your website link in the url box for your comments and it will make your name a link to your site :)

  11. Thanks!

  12. sounds interesting, i’ll have to check it out. thanks for posting the link.

  13. I still haven’t figured out the whole Twitter thing yet. I know a lot of people are using it. But frankly, I think people would just be bored to hear what I’m doing on a minute-by-minute basis.
