Congratulations to the TaxCut Winner!
At 12 pm I numbered the entries in the TaxCut giveaway in the order I received them, and used random.org to draw a random number - and the winner was entry #3 which was Kathee. I emailed the keycode to her with the instructions on how to use it, and she emailed me back that she’d received it, so all is well.
Thanks so much to all the entries to my first giveaway, and next year I am going to talk to H&R Block about rewarding early filers instead of late by giving me a prize earlier. We’ll see if that works.
H&R Block also sent me a link to their podcast for last minute filers on how to avoid some common mistakes:
In keeping with the last-minute theme, H&R Block has a helpful podcast for the millions of Americans sweat it out in the 11th hour to get their taxes in on time. But in their haste, they make a lot of mistakes that can cost them a lot of money. Listen or read about 5 common last-minute mistakes and how to avoid them here: http://www.digits.hrblock.com
Thanks again and congrats to Kathee! I’ll have to look into having more giveaways in the future! ![]()

Yay - that’s fun. I hope you can do more giveaways in the future
I didn’t apply because I didn’t need it, but you never know what I’ll want to win in the future
lol

Thanks a bunch!! I’ve not won anything online before - ebay doesn’t count!
Now, back to the tax channel!
