Downtime, Voting!, and RSS Subscribers

First off, I apologize for the downtime earlier today - apparently the server that my mysql database is on had problems. I’ve talked to my hosting company at length and they assure me the problem is resolved (and it better be!). Hopefully that is the last downtime for a long time.

Second, there’s been this March Madness competition going on at Free Money Finance to decide the best personal finance post of last year. I entered my Snowflaking: A Primer post and it has made it all the way to the final round! I’m amazed and thrilled! The prizes go to charity and I am playing for The Make a Wish Foundation, a charity that truly touches my heart.
