Sunday Morning Link Love ~ Scrapbooking Edition
I had a very nice weekend scrapbooking, and just in time - when I came home Saturday evening, my son proceeded to develop a fever and then in the middle of the night, woke me up by throwing up all over his room. So if my scrapbooking day had been today, I wouldn’t have gone. My son’s fever broke this morning and he seems much better, so I am hoping he is on the mend.
I’m grocery shopping later today so stay tuned for the analysis of my grocery spending (and the list looks huge so we’ll see how well I do, my spouse anticipates a complete budget meltdown) but until then, check out these great links from around the M-Network and beyond this week!
- No Credit Needed: How to Listen to a Podcast. I have to mention this first because NCN wrote it for me.
NCN was nice enough to mention my blog in his podcast last week, and when he messaged me to tell me, I had to admit that I honestly had no idea how to listen to a podcast. So he told me (It’s easy! I just had to hit play when on the podcast post!) and then wrote a post explaining for the rest of the clueless like me. Thanks NCN! Now everyone go listen to the No Credit Needed podcast - I loved it! Oh and by the way, did you know you can message through GMail? That is how NCN messaged me and I had no idea you could do that. I learn new things every day…
- Cash Money Life: How Do You Know When it is Time to Change Jobs? It sounds like there is change a’brewin’ over at Cash Money Life…
- Moolanomy: Personal Finance Blogosphere Best of 2007. Check out *this* roundup of great posts from 2007!
- Being Frugal: My Bank Sent Me A Letter. I love how Lynnae breaks down the economics of how this deal stinks.
- Plonkee Money: budgeting tip: make it automagical. Auto”magical” is a great way to go. I need to take this advice….
- My Two Dollars: Pros and Cons of Investing in Target Date Retirement Funds. I invest in one of these so this article was very interesting to me.
- Gather Little By Little: Why You Should Keep Your Money in Your 401k Plan. I agree!
- The Dough Roller: Traditional IRAs and Roth IRAs: Here’s what’s new for 2008. Why is it that as contribution limits increase, I just feel depressed… must get out of debt.
- Single Guy Money: Save Money on Auto Insurance. Must start tweaking my own plans. It has been on the list for-ever.
- Mighty Bargain Hunter: Discipline and Personal Finance. I loved this article, and I have found the same thing. Getting my finances healthy again has taken more discipline than I ever thought. There is no quick fix.
- Mrs Micah Finance for a Freelance Life: Now Officially an Investor! Congrats Mrs. Micah that must feel GREAT!
- DebtFREE-Revolution: The Economics of Feeding a Teenage Boy. Yikes
- Rocket Finance: My wife has her own checking account. I don’t, but I can see how this system works and I like it. Although for me, it’d be my spouse who’d have the small one.
Thanks for being a part of I’ve Paid For This Twice Already! Oh and by the way, if you are looking for an ING savings account bonus, I still have several left, you can read about the program and claim a $25 bonus here using a referral if you have $250 or more you’d like to open a savings account with. Thanks so much to the 12 people who have already opened accounts using my referrals!
