Carnivals featuring PaidTwice around the web
With being sick, a sick husband, and two sick kids this week, I didn’t get a chance to review the carnivals like I normally do and pick out posts that I especially related to. But I wanted to thank all of the carnival hosts for their hard work and dedication in putting them together and recognize each of the host blogs.
I was an editor’s pick in three different carnivals this week! In fact, a guest post I did on another site was also an editor’s pick in one of those carnivals, so I had four posts I wrote recognized as editor’s picks. This was an amazing honor and I am very grateful. They are:
- Get Rich Slowly hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance, Naughty or Nice Edition, with my post Five Golden Rules for Snowflaking as an editor’s pick!
- Me vs Debt hosted the Carnival of Debt Reduction, Winter Solstice Edition with my post Why The $1000 Emergency Fund? an editor’s pick!
- Everything Finance hosted the Carnival of Everything Finance, where both my submission, Taming My Cash Spending Trigger and a guest post I did for Plonkee Money, Motivation and Where to Find It were editor’s picks!
Other Carnivals (and Festivals) featuring PaidTwice this past week:
- Time to Budget hosted the Carnival of Money Stories featuring my post My Lack of Organization Costs Me Money.
- FIRE Finance hosted the Festival of Frugality which included Finding the Balance Between Frugality and Comfort.
- Adventures in Juggling hosted the Carnival of Family Life, which featured my Avoid Target Strategy and also featured a guest post I wrote for Moolanomy on 10 Preparing for Baby Tips for the Frugal-Minded.
- American Consumer News hosted the Cavalcade of Risk with my entry That’s Crazy Talk!
- Moggie Madness hosted the All Women Blogging Carnival including my submission about how I Got Paid To Buy Batteries.
I’d also like to thank Chris Walters at The Consumerist for linking to my snowflaking primer this week as Mrs. Micah’s top pick for personal finance practices of the year! More on that tomorrow. Thanks to the Consumerist and all of the carnival and festival hosts!
