Stories to Learn from and Frugality to Emulate ~ The Carnivals

Over at the All Women Blogging carnival at Barmus this week my submission Reaching Our Debt Crossover Point is Harder Than I Thought was included. This entry especially spoke to me:

  • Lightening: HELP. I am also pretty awful at asking for help when I need it, and I know the battle with depression all too well. Kudos to openness and honesty and speaking from the heart.

The Carnival of Money Stories was at that hub of carnival hosting goodness, Cash Money Life, this week. My entry, Narrowly Avoided “Lack of Organization” Stupid Tax, was included, and I especially related to this story:

  • My Two Dollars: Thinking Back on the Money I Wasted in 2007. Yeah… um… I have a few myself. Maybe there is a post in the works. Halloween candy on Halloween night at the expensive store because I didn’t buy enough ahead… check.

And I am always in the mood for a festival, especially the Festival of Frugality at Plonkee Money. My entry Frugal Mindset vs Frugal Practice was included, as well as this frugal tip that related specifically to me:

  • Living Almost Large: CVS Extra Care Bucks Explained. I am still working out the kinks of how to use Extra Care Bucks to my advantage and I am always looking for more tips!

Make sure to visit the carnivals and festival yourself and find your own top picks! :)
