Moms Makin’ Cents Tagged Me…
I was tagged earlier in the week to answer a few questions about my week by Moms Makin’ Cents, a fun blog about personal finance run together by two moms. I’m happy to be tagged and contribute my… two cents. Hee hee.
1. What did you accomplish this past week?
Christmas shopping! Well, almost. There was an ice storm today so I have a little bit left to finish during the week. But I am almost done!
2. Did anything not go as expected?
Yes! I could not find my son boots! This stinks. I am going to have to drag him around trying many random boots on his poor huge feet.
3. What was the highlight of your week?
Finding super comfy maroon sweatpants with tags still on them at Goodwill for $2. That may seem silly to be the highlight of my week but I never get stuff for myself, ever. Yes, I don’t just make my husband wear clothes from Goodwill, I do too.
4. Did anything exciting happen that you did not expect?
I actually managed to stay well within my Christmas budget! So far, at least.
I’ve been meme-ing a lot lately so I am going to just generally pass this on to the readers. Leave a comment with your answers and let’s all cheer each other on!
Thanks again for the tag!

1. What did you accomplish?
I tested babies solo for the first time. I also got a couple small freelance gigs.
2. Did anything not go as expected?
Well, I waged a huge battle with a theme which I thought it’d be easy to adapt. I’ve almost won, but it took hours and hours, not the 2 hours tops I thought it would need.
3. What was the highlight of your week?
I don’t know…for blogging it was definitely getting the theme pretty operable. Otherwise it’s been pretty tame with a side of depressed (but that’s normal enough).
4. Did anything exciting happen that you did not expect?
Well, I’d forgotten that I was meeting up with an old friend on Saturday. We had a really good time.
