Editor’s Picks All Over, Hurrah!
Today I had the distinct pleasure of being an editor’s pick in both the Carnival of Personal Finance with Budgeting and Time Management: Two Surprisingly Interrelated Skills and the Carnival of Debt Reduction with Paying as Much as I Possibly Can vs As Much as I Can Afford. Hurrah! I am beaming I am so excited about that. Thanks to Cash Money Life and Blogging Away Debt for finding my articles interesting enough to promote to editor’s picks.
I’m not the only editor’s picks of course, and here are a few other the others that I particularly enjoyed:
- Recipe For Financial Freedom: Side Effects of Being in Debt. I’ve had many of these side effects as well. I am happy to report as the debt is shrinking, some of them have been dissipating. I still think an awful lot about debt reduction though. (from Carnival of Debt Reduction)
- Don’t Mess With Taxes: Are Credit Cards Appropriate Toys for Kids? No. Nooooooo. In fact, the idea that Monopoly is switching to plastic made me get an “old school” version of the game and hide it in my closet for when the kids are old enough to play it. (from Carnival of Personal Finance)
I also have an entry this week in the All Women Blogging Carnival at Country Stitchin’ with Just Because You Can Get Away With It Doesn’t Make It Okay. I was inspired by this post as well:
- Cheap Healthy Good: Touch of Class: 10 Thrifty, Healthy Ingredients to Improve the Quality of Your Meals. I’m not what one would call a chef. Or even a cook. In fact, I’m more Rachael Ray than Sara Moulton. But I am trying to improve. With mixed results. This can help me, I think.
Be sure to check back Wednesday for my picks from the other carnivals I submitted to this week and visit the carnivals to make your own picks as well!
