I love the book I received at a financial seminar early this year. The presenter made so much sense!! I was amazed at the techniques used - so simple, yet effective. My sister and I stayed after to talk to the presenter, she was so good.

The book is called "It's Common Cent$: Money tips and tools for kids and their parents" by Neale S. Godfrey. I can't find it on the web, but I found the website created by the author, and it's all about kids and money! It promotes the same message about raising financially responsible kids.

I've been dealing with this same question myself, lately. As I get my own financial house in order, I want to teach my son (7 yrs) that money is not infinite, and to think larger than that neat new toy.

Of course, not watching TV is helping alot! (No seasonal begging!)

Thanks for yet another timely post! You made me go find that book. Now I can start reading/using it!
