Vote For Me! The Carnivals and Festival Roundup

This week, Millionaire Mommy Next Door hosted the Carnival of Personal Finance and has a contest among the entrants. The five entries that get the most votes get treats! The Festival of Frugality, which I will be hosting right here next week, made its way to Being Frugal and she had an awesome Halloween-themed layout. My post Do Vacations Spoil You For “Normal”? was included and I particularly liked this entry:

• Got No Dough: The Make Your Own Laundry Detergent Debate. I may need to start making my own I think….. we like the pricey kinds. Bah.

At the Carnival of Money Stories, True Financial Horror Stories hosted this week by The Baglady, my story The Ominous HR Letter was not termed a horror but hideous indeed! I also enjoyed reading this story:

• Being Frugal: The Benefits of Unemployment which rings a little too true for me right now…. but still, it is nice to think about the upsides.

The week is not complete without the Carnival of Family life, hosted by LittleLegends.biz. My story Making choices about Halloween Fun was included (glad now we didn’t do either, I must say…) and I also enjoyed this story:

• My Wealth Builder: Being at Home With our Daughter - A Great Choice for Us. I think for us it has been a great choice so far too… we’ll see what tomorrow brings :).

And finally, the All Women Blogging Carnival is at Mad Goat Lady and my post Debt as a Character Flaw was included. I also thought a lot about this post:

• Radical Ways To Save Money On Your Wedding posted at The Digerati Life. I wish in retrospect we had been a little better money managers with our wedding, but I am still happy we did not do the money dance.
