• Being Frugal: If I Were Debt Free - she tagged me in this meme this week and this is what Lynnae would do if she had no debt to contend with.
• The Dough Roller: Some 0% Credit Cards Will Cost You A Fortune - this is the card I transferred my Capital One balance to, but I was careful to get a NO balance transfer fee offer. The balance transfer fee can make the whole deal not worth it.
• My Two Dollars: Getting Organized Does Not Have to Cost A Lot of Money - I think a trip to my local dollar store is in order. I need some organization help!
• Christian PF: Budgeting is Like Baking Cookies - Yes my budget is pretty light on the sugar and probably the cookies would taste bad. But we are budgeting around a specific situation and I feel it is appropriate for us. And we do budget a little for fun (in the for m of the miscellaneous category, which is small).
• Plonkee Money: Dave Ramsey Gives Bad Advice - Say it isn’t so! It turns out that the Dave Ramsey website mischaracterized the original advice in their original synposis (it has since been changed), but give it a listen and see what you think anyway.
• DebtFREE-Revolution: Top 10 Reasons to be Debt Free - some are oh so funny and some are oh so true.

• A Penny Closer: Can We Really Afford to “Move Up”? - They lived on less before they had to to make sure. A great and inspiring idea.
• Brip Blap: I Want It. You Buy It. Any Questions? - Disturbing. I have some funny t-shirts for my kids too (most notably my son’s “I tried to be good but I got bored.” but…. this one really irks me for some reason. Maybe because a few years ago I would have found it funny.
• Advanced Personal Finance: Baby’s First Credit Card - Credit card applications sent to 4 year olds…. does she even have a credit score? Not surprising but still disturbing.
• Get Rich Slowly: Frugality is NOT a Dirty Word - Frugal doesn’t mean living without ANY comforts at all and leading a spartan existence. Its about making the most of what you have.
• Grad Money Matters: Is Working Smart Really an Alternative to Working Hard? - I agree with the author… really, you need to work smart AND work hard. There is usually not an easy ride. And if it looks like one… look at it closer and see if it really is.
• Clever Dude: Calculate Financial AND Opportunity Costs of Your Decision - Clever Dude analyzes his recent Mini Cooper purchase and shows why usually a decision isn’t purely financial.
• Blunt Money: The Price of Disorganization - I pay this price all too often! I need to get more organized…
• Blueprint for Financial Prosperity: Buy More House Than You Need - Playing Devil’s Advocate again, but this time, I sort of agree. Don’t buy more house than you can afford, but if you know your situation will be changing in the short term future (like having kids), buying more house than you currently need lets you grow into the house instead of moving.
• Money, Matter, and More Musings: Saving It For Later - Slow Nibbling On Chocolate - I do this too. I eat treats slowly to make them last…. maximize the gratification! Hee hee. I loved this.
