Twice in the last few months now, we've packed up our two little girls and just hitched a ride with him to the city, he parks at a truck-stop not far from his parents' place, and voila, free weekend away!! With gas prices what they are again, this is awesome! I don't remember how I found your blog, but I really enjoy it. Hubby and I are really trying to cut our spending and live more frugally so it's great to find sites like this that offer some great hints, tips, and strategies.
