Carnivals, Festivals, Fun for all!

It was a fun week of carnivals and festivals that I participated in. :) First up is the Carnival of Debt Reduction, hosted this week by fellow M-Network member Being Frugal. She just had a huge milestone for her blog as she passed 200 RSS subscribers and 1000 pageviews in a single day. Yay Lynnae! The carnival was written in a story format and was a very entertaining read. Be sure to check it out! My post As the likelihood of an emergency increases, your plan changes too was included, and I particularly enjoyed this entry as well:

Next, the Carnival of Personal Finance was at Ask Mr. Credit Card’s Blog in a clever presidential candidate debate format, and my post Budgeting For Dummies Part 3: A Budget You Can Stick To was a response to Flexo from Senator McCain. Hurrah! I also enjoyed:

  • How To Live on Minimum Wage at Exjackly. This really breaks things down and sees what can be done on very little money, and it is a squeaker.

At the Festival of Frugality, hosted this week at My Retirement Blog, my post about Bulk Buying - My Next Steps was included. I especially liked this entry:

  • The Dough Roller: Stop Frittering Away The Fruits Of Your Frugality. I love the idea of tracking and saving little amounts and then using them for a big purchase you wouldn’t otherwise be able to make. Especially one with big return potential.

The Carnival of Money Stories made its way to Money Monk this week, and my story about buying my house, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, was in the mix. I also liked reading this story:

Finally, the All Women Blogging Carnival was hosted this week at Woman Start Your Business Now and featured my post My Bulk Buying Leads to Lifestyle Inflation. I also enjoyed this post:

Thanks for writing great stuff, including my articles, and reading my picks! See you next week!
