I Made the Grade: Personal Finance Blog List

Hustler Money published a list of “Personal Finance’s Graduating Class of 2007” and gave a multitude of personal finance bloggers grades from 4.0 on down. It sounds like they are ranking the blogs but actually, their classification is based completely on traffic numbers so your grade isn’t reflective of the quality of your content.

I was happy to finally *be* on a personal finance blog list, sometimes I think this blog flies a little under the radar since it is not the definitive source of any actual personal finance…. facts. :) We emphasize the *personal* here not so much the finance in a global sense. But we’re having fun. And learning along the way!

I’ve Paid For This Twice Already landed squarely in the “B” category with over 100 RSS readers, 100 incoming links, and over 10K pageviews a month. Thanks to all my readers and supporters, I couldn’t do it without you! I guess I should start aiming at cracking the 3.5 GPA level, but for that I need 300 RSS readers… over halfway there! Weren’t you thinking of subscribing today with a reader or by email? I thought so…. ;)

  1. Congrats! :-) I posted about feeling sad for getting a “C” (not really, though, because I’m 2 months old) and noticed in my site stats that a couple more people subscribed. Coincidence? Hmm.

  2. That is one looooong list!

  3. One long list indeed! lol

Don’t feel sad! You’re on a list! That’s great in and of itself :)

  4. I can’t believe I made the list either. I am only on the “get by” list but I did make the list. My blog is still relatively new so I am pretty excited.
