It’s Free

It is a beautiful evening here in midwest America, summer is still going strong during the day but by twilight the air has the cool and crisp feeling of fall on the way. Sometimes the best things in life are indeed free. Take advantage of the seasons if you also have them. Take a walk, go outside and spend some time with your loved ones enjoying the feeling of the breeze in your hair (or on your bald head), or curl up with a good book under a tree on a blanket if you’re by yourself. Don’t let the best things in life slip by unnoticed thinking about your finances.

After all, it’s free.

Tomorrow is another day to ponder the ins and outs of debt and interest and saving and spending and all the other nuances we all love to analyze. Tonight take a walk and breathe deep. It’s good for the soul.

  1. Wonderfully stated :)

  2. I agree! When I ride my bike around town, I think…how did I get so lucky?! Especially when there is a breeze, the sun is setting, and everything is green….however, don’t talk to me when winter hits.

  3. If you don’t stop to look around you and enjoy the world for what it is then you aren’t living life. Something as simple as a sunset or the shapes that clouds make when you’re staring at them is a very strong motivating factor (at least for me)

  4. Very true everyone. It’s the simple things.

    Thanks!

  5. So true. It’s the opposite here in the seasons for us where the days are getting warmer and longer. I love the change in seasons.

  6. Nod changing seasons are what keep me in a variable climate. :)
