Speaking of disposable diapers, a new bargain I found

This is a little off point, but could save someone (and me!) money. And no, I don’t get a commission or anything.

I’ve mentioned before that the only diapers that really work with my son without significant leakage are Pampers, also the most expensive. I have found a *few* others that have sort of worked with him, but not completely. One of those brands were the Especially For Baby (EFB) ones I now use with my daughter.

The big problem with EFB diapers vs Pampers is they were a lot smaller at the same supposed “size”. So basically, he outgrew them. But when I went last month to buy diapers for both kids, I found they’d revamped the EFB ones and they were significantly bigger. The new size 4s looked like the old size 6s, and the 6s in shape at least were even bigger than the Pampers 6s.

I bought some for each of them, and although I haven’t tried them with my son yet (I’ll be breaking into them this week I think), they work so well with my daughter that we’ve had her in them overnight as well as during the day. We’d previously been using Pampers overnight with her because of the increased chance of leaking over a longer time period, and then EFB during the day.

So, I’m excited. These are the only generics I had originally found that even somewhat compared to Pampers and now I think they might work just as well as the expensive name brand. And at $21.99 a case vs $35.99 (at least here in the midwest), they’re a great bargain. Too bad they didn’t do this revamp until my son was 3.
