I’ve Paid For This Twice Already…

Partial Numbers Update

I should be getting my check in the mail today for the work I completed in June, and when I do, I’ll be depositing that and then dropping off my car payment. But my student loan payments cleared so I wanted to update those numbers now.  I’m a little impatient.  I’ll do a complete number update later.

Total as of 7/14/07: $35446.33 (principal paid to date $1005.38)

Broken down into:

Credit Card: $5817.09

Student loan: $12,267.16

Spouse student loan: $12,749.84

Car loan: $4642.24

As of 7/18/07:

New Student loan total: $12,169.59

New Spouse student loan total: $12,571.82

New total 7/18/07: $35200.74 (principal paid to date $1250.97)

Kind of depressing that my payments to these two student loans equals almost $400 and interest eats up over $100 of that but, that’s life.  I’ll get to dealing with that someday.  Gotta stay focused on the credit card. 
The car payment should knock that number under $35000.  :cheer:
