I’ve Paid For This Twice Already…

Waste

And my irritation at it.  Argh.

Earlier this week, I purchased some sandals for my son that were on the clearance rack at Children’s Place.  Then later this week at a yard sale, I found him another pair of sandals for 50 cents that I thought would fit even better.  And, finally, for his birthday, my parents got him some generic Croc-type shoes.

Well, he went from no sandals to 3 pairs in a week.  And so I thought I would return the ones I bought… except, according to the receipt (which I carefully retained), I can only return unworn tagged merchandise to Children’s Place.  Ugh.

Oh well.  It isn’t the first mistake I have ever bought.  And even worse, one of these three pairs of sandals gave my son a blister today, and I am not even sure which pair because he keeps changing which he is wearing.  Going to have to hide two pairs and do an experiment.

It is nice to have shoes he can put on independently though.  Even if he now has at least one pair too many.
