I discovered notes in PearBudget!

Hallelujah!

I discovered how to write notes for each cell that appear when you mouse over the cell. This has made many of my current frustrations with using PearBudget disappear. I still wish I could have more than ten headings in each category (I have some of what I would classify as “variable” expenses in the “irregular” column simply for lack of heading space) but now I can label expenses better and also make notes as to how far over or under budget I was the previous month in categories that need to carry over (irregular expenses).

Ah. Life is good. I’m sure anyone else who has used PearBudget caught on to the note thing immediately, since there are some used as examples even, but that’s okay. It is only day 3. It is a work in progress. ;)
