What did I do today to get closer to getting out of debt?
Not much. 
Batteries in my camera died and I don’t have replacements, missed putting them on the shopping list. I’ll have to go out tomorrow and buy some cheapies because I have pictures on the camera to download of things to post for sale on Craigslist.
I didn’t go anywhere to spend any money, so there is that. My son got a check in the mail from his great grandfather for his birthday, so I’ll be going out tomorrow to deposit that for his college fund, and I’ll pick up some batteries then.
I did email the two people who were interested in some of my Craigslist items, and one wrote back that she didn’t have the money right now and the other did not respond to me. Ah well.
And I transferred the $10 from the survey focus group that finally paid me from my paypal account to my checking account. When it shows up I will snowflake it and the $8 previous Craigslist sale to my credit card (and maybe I will have made another sale or two by then… maybe).
Some little bitty things. Some days, just standing still is progress.
