I’ve Paid For This Twice Already…

Day One and I’m already over budget ;)

My spouse’s birthday was near the end of June and he wanted a CD of music snippets that his work sells, and to get the employee discount, he had to order it for himself. Well, of course I agreed to a present for him that required no thought on my part ;).

He procrastinated ordering it and just got around to it a few days ago, and Friday he brought home the invoice so I could write a check for it. I wrote the check in June but he won’t bring it in and pay for it until Monday, so that’s July… and it was $32.18 and I only budgeted $20 for gifts in July.

Oops :). Ah well. The budget is a living document ;).
