I am not recommending online surveys as a viable source of steady income but…

I am signed up with a few different online survey sites. I am not good at canceling things so no sites where you have to complete “free” offers. And none of the referral/pyramid ones, I’m not into that. The ones I joined were ones that pay in points and then points can be redeemed for cash, or ones where it pays cash directly, and two that pay in amazon.com gift cards. Overall I earn maybe $20 a month total, if that, via about 7 different sites. Just a little snowflaking or yard sale shopping $.

A few days ago I got a prequalifier to earn a $10 amazon.com gift card. And usually I don’t prequalify but for this one, I did! And this morning I was greeted by a nice shiny amazon.com gift card in my email inbox. Just in time for my son’s birthday :) . Most of his presents I already bought throughout the last 6 months at clearance sales or post-Christmas markdowns, but there is one thing I have been waiting to purchase for him and now it is like I got a $10 off coupon! :)

Speaking of my son’s birthday a box full of Brio train stuff showed up yesterday via UPS, my inlaws are also insuring a happy birthday for the boy :) .
