I’ve Paid For This Twice Already…

From financial imprisonment to financial independence, one snowflake at a time. This is one family’s story.

Good things come to those who wait

Patience may be a virtue, but if you haven’t figured it out already, it is not one of MY virtues.  I am excitable and hyper and I like things to happen immediately.  I am a fan and follower of instant gratification and I don’t do waiting well.

This may give you some insight into why I am in debt in the first place.  Uh… maybe?  ;)
So this whole craigslist thing is a test of my patience.  Waiting for someone to be interested (I’ve got two people right now interested in different things I have posted), then working out the details which means waiting for return emails to arrive, arranging viewing/pick-up, waiting to make the complete sale and get the money before I start logging into accounts and plotting snowflakes…..  just…. waiting.

It will make me a better person.  Repeat that over and over til it all runs together like a silly saying that makes no sense, or a game of telephone gone horribly wrong.  Then repeat.
Good things come to those who wait.  Or at least, that’s what I am banking on.

Now c’mon people, come buy my stuff!  My loss is your gain!  Yadda yadda… lol

  1. Craigslist…well, I haven’t gone there yet, mostly because dh and I are such private people, we would NOT like people calling us or showing up at our house to pick things up. I know we could sell more locally. I’m just a weenie. ;)
    Good luck on your sales!

  2. Well I am working my way up to selling on ebay. For some reason, the auction aspect of ebay makes me frightfully nervous.

But I just now managed to start on craigslist, that made me nervous til I had a yard sale. Suddenly craigslist seemed like an okay idea.

Although except for these baby clothes (where there are just way too many for me to cart somewhere and wait for someone to look through) I am meeting people outside my house at a local shopping center. Public place and all that. lol

    Thanks for the well-wishes!
