“Good” Debt vs “Bad” Debt

So student loans by those who classify good vs bad debt is classified as a “good” debt. It allows you to better yourself by getting a college education when you otherwise would not be able to afford it. My spouse uses his degree every day in his job. Okay. I can see that. But….

I also have student loans. I work from home part to full time (depends on the work available) so that I can stay home with the littles. One could claim I *got* the WAH gig through my impressive educational resume (maybe to probably, but I don’t really know for sure) but I promise, I don’t really *use* my degrees in performing the work. So is my student loan bad debt then?

It ultimately doesn’t really matter to me that much. I just want the debt gone, no matter what anyone might classify it as. But it gives me food for thought every time I see those “good vs bad debt” statements.
